DataFork has previously been involved in a series of diverse musical projects experimenting with different styles and tones. The collaboration with Ayesha that was released on DataForks own label K-Werks has received credit by many, noticing the innovative ideas in songs such as Fire and Squaffie. On top of this he has also produced names such as the Narcissists (The Narcs), Bucc, Sona, the Swedish screw-pioneers Scandalouz and also various pop acts.

New Hawks will shortly to be followed up by the full-length album Hello to Love. Resemblances and similarities with DataForks diverse musical background is apparent but as apparent is it that he is also moving boldly moving into previously unchartered musical terrain. The music moves within and transcends genres such as old school house, funk and electro; creatively unruly electronic rhythms and a light pop like sound invokes the dancing spirit within the listener.

The inspiration for the music is taken out of the blue – as the most of the tracks on the album has been composed from the airplane seat. The music of Hello To Love has been a way for DataFork to work with his emotions related to travelling experiences  spurred by love.

In contrast to the cosmopolitan character of the compositions, the voice recordings gas been made at home base in Dataforks studio in Stockholm, from where he also runs K-Werks. The Distribution is handled by Border.
